Gihan Mudalige is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Warwick. His research focuses on domain–specific high-level abstraction frameworks for developing parallel numerical simulation software. As part of this work Mudalige is one of the main developers of the OP2 and OPS embedded domain specific languages. His current and recent collaborations include projects with Rolls-Royce plc., STFC, AWE plc., the Numerical Algorithms Group (NAG), UCL, the Alan Turing Institute and the University of Southampton. In 2018, he was awarded a Royal Society Industry Fellowship with Rolls-Royce plc., focusing on developing future-ready massively-parallel CFD simulations for Exascale HPC systems. Before joining Warwick, he was a Senior Researcher at the University of Oxford.
