Ingrid has more than 20 years of experience in HPC in the academic sector. Ingrid’s career included several years as system administrator of supercomputers, scientific software user support, management roles on different supercomputing, e-Administration services, and management of the whole life cycle of acquisition projects from its initial design, tender writing and evaluation, planning and deployment as well as the operation of the services. Ingrid is now project leader of the Flemish Supercomputing Centre (VSC) Tier-1 system and member of the KU Leuven university HPC User Support Team. Situated in Belgium, KU Leuven is one of the oldest and most renowned universities in Europe. KU Leuven is a research-intensive, internationally oriented university. KU Leuven is a member of the Flemish Supercomputer Centre (VSC) established in 2007 by the Flemish government to align and integrate the supercomputer infrastructures of 5 Flemish universities for both academic and industrial users.
